2nd Annual Snow Cone 5K in Memoriam for Cadet Knox MacEwen

Join us for the 2nd Annual Snow Cone 5K in Memoriam for Cadet Knox MacEwen on January 19, 2025, at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida. This event is organized by the Western High School JROTC Booster Club to support the MacEwen family and the South Florida community.

Event Details

The Snow Cone 5K is a chipped timed event that will award the top 3 overall and age group winners (male and female). Each participant will receive a personalized race bib with an RFID timing chip, an event shirt, a beautiful finisher medal, and a delicious flavored snow cone.

Course Information

Participants will enjoy a flat and fast course at Vista View Park, avoiding any hills. The event schedule includes pre-race packet pickup on January 17, 2025, and a series of activities leading up to the race start at 8:00 AM on January 19, 2025.

Registration Fees

Sign up early to save on registration fees: $35.00 from August 1 to November 30, 2024; $37.50 from December 1 to December 31, 2024; $39.50 from January 1 to January 18, 2025; and $45.00 on the day of the event.

Schedule of Events

Gates open at 6:30 AM, with registration and packet pickup starting at 6:45 AM. Enjoy music and entertainment, a warm-up session, and the awards ceremony following the race.
