About the Event

Join us for the 2nd Annual 5K Breast Cancer Awareness Run & Health Walk presented by Atrium Health Floyd on Saturday, September 28, 2024. This event will take place at Ridge Ferry Park, where participants can enjoy a scenic course while supporting a great cause.

Event Details

The event kicks off with race day registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K start at 9:15 a.m. and the Health Walk at 9:30 a.m. The awards ceremony for the 5K will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Course Information

The 5K course is USATF-certified, making it a qualifying event for the Peachtree Road Race. The run features a flat and fast course with only one hill, while the Health Walk consists of a 1.7-mile route on gravel and paved trails.

Registration

Registration for the 5K is $26, and the Health Walk is $21. Late registration is available for $36 and $26 respectively, and race day registration is $40 for the 5K and $30 for the walk. Group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.

Awards and Post-Race

Awards will be given to the top finishers in various age groups, and post-race refreshments will be provided. Join us for a fun-filled day supporting breast cancer awareness!
