Boggy Draw Bear Chase

Welcome to the Boggy Draw Bear Chase! This event is designed for middle and high school athletes, featuring various races that challenge their endurance and skills.

Event Details

The event will take place at Boggy Draw, Dolores, CO. Participants can look forward to a scenic course with dirt surfaces and a few hills, making it an exciting challenge for all runners.

Course Information

We have several courses available: the Bear Chase MS Girls and Boys races are both 3K, while the Bear Chase HS Girls and Boys races are 5K. Each course is marked clearly to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.

Registration and Fees

Registration is open for teams and individuals. The fees are $100 for high school teams, $75 for middle school teams, or $10 per individual. Please ensure entries are submitted by the specified deadline.

Awards and Recognition

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each race, with ribbons for 4th to 10th place. Team plaques will be given to the top two teams in each race.

Parking and Logistics

Parents and spectators are encouraged to arrive early for parking. There are designated areas for bus drop-off and parking for teams. Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth experience.

Concessions and Amenities

Concessions will be available near the finish line, and we recommend bringing water jugs for hydration throughout the day. Our athletic trainer will be onsite to assist athletes as needed.
