Canal Run for the Troops 5K & 10K

Thank you for joining us along the beautiful Cape Cod Canal for our 14th Annual 5K/10K Canal Run For The Troops. Saturday, October 5, 2024 to benefit Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops. Our run starts at the north west end of the Canal at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area (next to Massachusetts Maritime Academy) and continues along the Canal's service road/bike path to the Herring Run Recreation Area turnaround, then finishes back at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area. The course is flat and paved with a water view the length of the course, there is slight rise as you run toward the Herring Run turnaround. Race management and chip timing by RaceWire. Free T-Shirt for the first 100 to register. Gifts for top male/female in each event. Age group awards Water stations along the course. Get friends/family to sponsor you and help raise money for our troops. Prizes for the group and individuals who raise the most money! There is plenty of on site parking. The race starts and finishes at the same location.
