Freaky Friday 5K

It’s time to get in the Halloween spirit with a super fun, haunted trail run/walk during the creepy dark hours at Fisher Farm Park. The Freaky Friday 5K on Friday, October 25, 2024 will kick off a whole weekend of hot trail action during Fisher Fest.

Event Details

This exciting three-day trail festival is hosted by the Tarheel Trailblazers! Runners, joggers, and/or walkers can choose between two exciting distances: 5K Scare My Ass Off or the 1 Mile Candy Grab. This event is NOT about racing; it’s really only about making it off the trails… alive.

Course Information

The course will consist of a combination of paved greenway and mountain bike trails at the beautiful Fisher Farm Park. Along both routes, you’ll encounter ghosts, goblins, and a stroll through old man Fisher’s graveyard. It’s recommended that all participants carry a headlamp or flashlight.

Registration Information

All participants will receive a commemorative Freaky Friday 5K tee with your event registration. Onsite registration and packet pickup starts at 7 PM, and the run/walk starts at 8 PM. Every participant that registers by October 15 will be guaranteed a commemorative Freaky Friday 5K T-shirt. Participants who register after October 15 will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. Shirts are ordered based on the sizes indicated during online registration. NO SWITCHING SIZES – NO EXCEPTIONS!
