About the Event
The Homecoming Charity 5K is a race raising money for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit 501 organization that builds and delivers beds to children who don't have beds to sleep in. This event has donated over 200,000 beds nationwide.
Event Details
Students and the Gainesville community will join together to race through Depot Park in Downtown Gainesville, celebrating UF Homecoming's commitment to charity. Students and families of all ages are welcome to participate in the Homecoming 5K!
Registration Information
Registration opens on August 16th at 10:00 am and closes on September 20th at 4:00 pm. Participants who place top 3 in either of the two groups (men and women) will receive a medal. Registration will be accepted on the day of the event with a price increase of $5 for all individuals.
Parking
Please utilize the Depot Park parking lots for race day parking.
