ICY-8 Trail Run

Athletic Equation presents the ICY-8 Trail Run, a challenging trail running event that will take place at Lake Anna State Park in Spotsylvania, VA. The event is designed to introduce runners to all aspects of trail running, with participants completing the long loop, short loop, and mini loop on a figure 8 course.

Overview

The ICY-8 Trail Run is part of Athletic Equation's ultra running paradigm shift, offering runners the opportunity to run as much as they want. The event will be held on February 1, 2025, starting at 7:30 AM at Lake Anna State Park.

Course & Description

The course consists of looped trails, with approximately 90% of the course being trail terrain. The remaining 10% includes a mix of trail and closed payment roads. The trail is single-track and double-track, providing a fast but challenging running experience.

Schedule of Events

The ICY-8 Trail Run schedule includes registration, race start times, and post-race activities. Participants will have the opportunity to select from three course loops and can combine loops to maximize mileage during the event.
