Kelpies Half Marathon

Join us for the Kelpies Half Marathon, a perfect opportunity to take on your first half marathon or aim for a personal best. This scenic route crosses the Firth of Forth twice, offering participants stunning views and plenty of photo opportunities, especially near the iconic horse sculptures.

Event Details

The event will take place on Sunday, 22nd September 2024, starting at 9:15 am. The course is flat and suitable for all abilities, making it an ideal choice for both seasoned runners and newcomers.

Route Information

Participants will start by running towards the famous Kelpies, then head towards the A905, taking a left towards Skinflats. The route includes a crossing over the Clackmannanshire Bridge, providing breathtaking views of the Forth. After a small climb, runners will make their way to Kincardine village and back, finishing on the green near the Kelpies.

What’s Included

All participants will receive a finisher's medal and an event t-shirt. There will be two water stations along the route, and a first aid team will be present at the start and finish areas.

Registration

Registration will take place from 7:45 am to 8:55 am on the event day. Runners are encouraged to arrive early to ensure a smooth start. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in various categories.

Getting There

The Helix, Visitor Centre is easily accessible by car, with parking available nearby. For those using public transport, full directions can be found on the event website.
