Event Overview

Kids on the Run 2024-2025 is designed for elementary school students from grades K - 5th, inviting individual young runners to participate in a series of six one-mile races.

• Distance: 1 Mile
• Entry Fee: $35.00

Schedule

• Thursday, Oct. 3rd - 5:45 p.m. at Skate Park - Stoner Ave & Clyde Fant Parkway (Host School: St. Mark's Cathedral School)
• Monday, Nov. 11th - 5:30 p.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium - 6115 E. Kings Hwy (Host School: Judson Magnet Elementary)
• Saturday Dec. 7th - 9:00 a.m. at LSUS Recreational Field - One University Place (Host School: Fairfield Magnet Elementary)
• Monday, Feb. 10th - 5:30 p.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium - 6115 E. Kings Hwy (Host School: Eden Gardens Magnet Elementary)
• Thursday March 6th - 5:45 p.m. at LSUS Recreational Field - One University Place (Host School: Haughton Elementary)
• Thursday April 10th - 5:45 p.m. at Skate Park - Stoner Ave & Clyde Fant Parkway (Host School: First Baptist Church School)

Awards and Recognition

• Medals for Top 10 finishers at each run.
• Prizes for running clubs with the most participants and top finishers.

Packet Pick-up

Monday September 30th - Wednesday October 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum (6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport).
