Llama - The Byrd Escape

Llama - The Byrd Escape is a trail running event where participants get to run loops and interact with llamas. The race takes place on private land at Earthshine Lodge, offering a beautiful and unique experience.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The trail route will follow along private land of Earthshine Lodge. It is an extremely beautiful piece of land that the Llamas are lucky enough to live on. Our flagging for the race will be RED Ribbon, and YELLOW Arrows!!

THE AID STATION

The Aid Station will be fully stocked with basic food choices which typically include items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, bacon. The Hydration will consist of water, and Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. The Aid Station will be stocked with first aid.

RUNNER INFORMATION

Wear BIBS on the front of your shirt or shorts and ensure that it is clearly visible throughout the entire race. Trekking poles are NOT allowed throughout the race. Be ready for rain, and fog in many cases.

CUTOFFS

The cutoff for this race will be based on your time that you signed up for.

MEDALS

Medals will come with the completion of the race. Medals are handmade pottery medal by BlueGill Pottery. One of a kind and not any one medal is the same as the next one.
