Luau 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon

Event Details

The Luau Races offer participants a choice of distances: 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and Half Marathon. This race will take place at Clark's Creek Greenway, Charlotte, NC on September 28, 2024.

• 1 Mile: Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $25.00
• 5K: Distance: 5K, Price: $30.00
• 10K: Distance: 10K, Price: $45.00
• 15K: Distance: 15K, Price: $50.00
• Half Marathon: Distance: 13.1 Miles, Price: $65.00

This is not a mandatory club race, but club members receive a 50% discount on races and a special club shirt. To learn more about the club, visit US Road Running.

Race Information

The race will start at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup available starting 30 minutes before the race until 10 minutes prior to beginning. All runners are required to register online through RunSignup, as there will be no on-site registration.

Course Details

• 1 Mile Course: Out and Back
• 5K, 10K, & 15K Course: Out and Back. 5K once, 10K twice, 15K three times.
• Half Marathon Course: Out and Back. Runs four times on the same course.

Finisher Medals

All finishers will receive a themed medal.

Costume Contest

Wearing a costume is encouraged! There will be a group photo and an award for the best costume at the beginning of the race.

The race will start at 9729 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28267, at the Mallard Creek Playground, just across from Mallard Creek Elementary School.
