Pirate 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon at Shamrock Park, Venice, FL (12-7-2024) RD1

This is a US Road Running Club Race and part of the US Road Running Race Series. It is not required to be a club member to run with us. Club members receive 50% off club races and a US Road Running shirt. To join go to https://usroadrunning.com

Race Information

The race starts at 8:00 AM. Packet pickup starts 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. All runners must register on RunSignup. No on-site registration.

Go through the Nature Center, you will find the start on the path behind the Nature Center.

1M Course: The course is an out-and-back. View Course Map

5K, 10K, & 15K Course: The course is an out and back. The 5K does the course one time. The 10K does the course two times. The 15K does the course three times. View Course Map

Half Marathon Course: The course is an out and back. The Half Marathon does the course four times. View Course Map

Course Time Limit

3 hours and 30 minutes.

Awards

1st Place Overall Male, 2nd Place Overall Male, 3rd Place Overall Male, 1st Place Overall Female, 2nd Place Overall Female, 3rd Place Overall Female. Age group awards are based on series points and awarded at the end of each calendar year.

Finisher Medals

All finishers will receive a themed medal. Pirate Finisher Medals.

Best Costume

It is not required to wear a costume, but we do encourage it. The best costume will be awarded at the beginning race.

Pirate Booty

To help get into the theme we have Pirate Booty at our pirate race.

Race Rules

Entry fees are non-refundable, with no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. No dogs on the course. Walkers are always welcome.
