About the Event
Event Details
This group ride is an organized and supported experience meant to preview the Ironman/Rockford 70.3 bike course. The pace of the ride will be determined by the group, ensuring a friendly and social atmosphere.
Start and Finish
The ride will start and finish at the transition area, located at Davis Park/Embassy Suites:
416 South Main Street, Rockford, IL 61104.
Support
The Winnebago County Sheriff will provide lead and trailing escorts for the entire ride. Please note that the route will not be closed and normal traffic will be present. The registration fee covers the costs of County Sheriff escorts, insurance, and support.
Parking
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in several lots close to the hotel.
Course Information
The distance of the course is 56 miles.
Registration
Registration opens on September 13, 2024, at 8:00 AM CDT. The cost to participate is $25.00.
