Royal Run For The Children

Royal Family KIDS is an international organization of volunteers who mentor, guide and support children of trauma. Our goal is to intervene in their lives and provide guidance, structure, and love for children placed in foster care.

History of Royal Family KIDS of Franklin County

Royal Family KIDS of Franklin County was founded in 2002 to enrich the lives of Franklin County’s abused and neglected children. The organization serves these children through a one week residential summer camp and continual long term mentorships throughout the school year.

RFK Camps

RFK operates camps where kids are allowed to be kids for a week that is filled with activities designed to make them feel safe while they have fun. The camp curriculum and activities are designed specifically to build self-esteem. The camp guides are paired with only two children for the week and are trained to handle their unique needs and behaviors.

Fundraising Goal

Our fundraising goal for 2024-2025 is to raise $60,000 to continue serving as many children as possible on an annual basis.

Event Details

Royal Run For The Children is a 5K Run/Walk with a Kids Run (ages 6-8), taking place on September 28, 2024, at Glacier Ridge Metro Park, 9801 Hyland-Croy Road, Plain City, Ohio 43064. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., with the Kids Run starting at 8:45 a.m., and the 5K Run/Walk at 9:00 a.m.
