About the Event

The Run to Stop Traffick 5K and 1 mile fun run is back for a 4th year benefiting Operation Underground Railroad! This organization is dedicated to eradicating sex trafficking, and has liberated over 4,000 children since it began in 2013. Join us to help end human trafficking! We like having our race day be one giant party with some really awesome prizes and a fun atmosphere for the whole family! So bring your family and friends and come have a great time with us, all for a great cause! Men - 30 pounds Women - 20 pounds Kids - 10 pounds (Ages 8-17); 5 pounds (under 8) If not competing for the top 1-3 places male or female, then the weight you carry is up to you. Course The course runs primarily along the Legacy Parkway Trail with an approximate 1.25 mile loop in the middle around an open grass field and is all paved. The race is professionally chip timed. The chips are attached to the back of your bib number. Bibs must be worn on the front of you in order to be accurately timed. 5K Route with a water station at the halfway point. There are bathrooms near the start and finish line just to the east of the pavilion. Packet Pickup Friday, September 20, 2023 Time: 4:00-7:00 PM Location: TBA Packet pickup will also be available on the morning of the race starting at 8:00 AM.
