About the Event
Join us for the Shut-In Ridge Run, a challenging 22-mile race through the beautiful trails of Asheville, NC. The race will start at the NC Arboretum at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This event is not only a test of endurance but also a celebration of the rich history of trail running in the region.
Course Information
The 2024 course will be the same as in 2023, featuring a mix of technical trails and scenic views. Runners will navigate through various trails, including the Mtn to Sea Trail and the Laurel Mtn Trail, culminating in a finish at Wolf Ford Horse Camp.
Awards and Celebration
Post-race, participants can look forward to a celebration and awards ceremony, where handmade stained glass awards will be presented to the top finishers. Cash awards will also be given to the top 5 men and women.
