St. Rita 5K & Fun Run for Education

Event Overview

The St. Rita 5K and Fun Run is back for its 20th annual running again offering both the 1K Fun Run and the 5K main event!

Course Information

The course for 2024 will be a flat, fast out-and-back along Main Line Boulevard and Potomac Ave. in the Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria. The Start/Finish line will be behind George Washington Middle School (enter via Mt. Vernon Ave.). It's a tree-lined course that should be sporting beautiful fall colors!

Race Day Schedule

• 7:00am - 8:00am: Packet Pickup and Onsite Registration
• 8:00am: 1K Fun Run Start
• 8:30am: 5K Start
• 9:30am: Awards Ceremony

Prizes

The St. Rita 5K rewards top finishers with cash prizes and gift cards from area restaurants and retailers.

Transportation

Free parking is available. The Starting Line is steps away from the Braddock Rd. Metro station (Yellow/Blue line).

Miscellaneous

Strollers are welcome on the course. Due to limited stocks, T-shirts are available to the first 500 registrants, so sign up now to ensure you get one!
