About the Event
Another year of comeback for Terengganu Drawbridge Half Marathon 2024 which will be its 2nd edition where participants will witness the awe-inspiring sight of the drawbridge (Jambatan Angkat) raised and lowered just moment before flag off, taking runners running along Miami Beach towards Sultan Mahmud Airport and return to the drawbridge. As participants cross the finish line, their spirits soar, knowing that they have not only conquered the challenging half marathon but also experienced a race like no other. It is the first drawbridge built in Malaysia and Southeast Asia as an iconic design structure and tourist attraction for Kuala Terengganu (KTCC). This bridge is 638meter in length that can be raised and lowered using counterweight to allow for vessels to pass underneath it.
