Triangle Run Smart Fall 2024 Kids Race

Our Fall 2024 Kids Race is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. Come join us for our Kids Track Race on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2-4pm at the Mills Park Middle School track & field in Cary! We will have lots of mini races of varying distances on the track during the event, plus fun running games on the inner field for those waiting their turn to race.

Race Details

Races to include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1-mile races (broken into age groups). Medals for all participants and ribbons for the top 3 winners of each individual race heat. Water, Gatorade, and rice crispy bars will be provided to the kids during/after the event.

Cost and Registration

Cost of the race is $25. This includes participation in as many mini race events as you'd like to register your child for, a race bib to wear during the event, participation in running games, hydration and treats, and medals. The race is capped at 60 participants.

Schedule of Events

1:45-2:00pm - sign-in and get bibs
2-2:15pm - group warmups
2:20pm - 100m race
2:45pm - 200m race
3:00pm - 400m race
3:15pm - 800m race
3:30pm - 1 mile race
3:50pm - Awards, medals & treats, plus sign-out

Free Race Photos from the event will be provided to all, courtesy of one of our kids' run parents, Sergiy Matsak. A photo album link will be emailed out to registrants a week after the race.
