Virginia Marathon (Full/Merikos/Half/10k/5k)

Event Details

The Virginia Marathon goes through Virginia’s horse and wine country, developed by Old Dominion Racing. This event will include both live and in-person racing, kicking off in historic Middleburg.

Land at Dulles International Airport in Loudoun County and, within 30 minutes, arrive in this picturesque town. Runners will travel along paved roads (some gravel) in Loudoun and Fauquier counties, enjoying scenic vistas, horse farms, rolling countryside, and plenty of shade. Everyone starts and ends at The Hill School, just minutes from Middleburg’s downtown filled with boutiques and locally-owned restaurants.

Course Challenge

Athletes seeking a challenge can opt for the full Marathon or Merikós, tackling Bull Run Mountain with an elevation gain of 3000+ ft! Experience the beauty and thrill of running through this incredible region.
