13th Annual RACE for the Orphans 5K

Run to change lives! Join more than 1,000 participants on Saturday, May 3, 2025 in beautiful, historic downtown Newnan, Georgia. ORION Racing powered by Start2Finish will manage the 5K finish line and use RFID chip timing for accurate results.

The 5K course is USATF Certified and a qualifier for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Medals and cash prizes for Top 5K Male & Female winners: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place. Additional awards will be given to the top 3 schools with the most participants.

Runners, walkers, and strollers are all welcome! A RACE T-shirt is guaranteed to those who register by April 27th. Early registration ends at 11:59 PM on April 27th, with price increases thereafter.

Race Day Schedule:

• 7:45 AM - Tot Trot for ages 5 and under
• 8:00 AM - Mia's Mile Fun Run/Walk
• 8:30 AM - 5K begins
• 9:30 AM - Awards ceremony

Packet Pick-Ups:

• Friday, May 2nd: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM at Dragonfly Running Club
• Saturday, May 3rd: 7:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Newnan
