14th Annual Superhero 5K and Fun Run

Event Details

The Superhero 5K will take place at Nathan Benderson Park with the start/finish line on the island near the rowing finish tower! The in-person Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM and the 5K has a chip start between 9:00 and 9:10 AM. Runners will receive an official chip time.

Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superheroes, with medals awarded to those in costume!

Awards

Trophies will be given for various categories including:

• Best Superhero Family
• Best Male & Female Superhero Costumes
• Team Spirit (Team With Most Runners)
• Best Pet Superhero Costume

Course Information

The course is an out-and-back, and parking is available near the rowing finish tower.

5K Registration Fee Schedule:

• March 31 -- Nov 30, 2024: $20/30
• Dec 1 -- Dec 31, 2024: $25/35
• Jan 1 -- Jan 31, 2025: $30/40
• Feb 1 -- Feb 9, 2025: $35/$45
• On-site registration on race day: $50

Fun Run Registration Fee Schedule:

• March 31 -- Nov 30, 2024: $10
• Dec 1 -- Dec 31, 2024: $15
• Jan 1 -- Feb 9, 2025: $20
• On-site registration on race day: $25

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up will occur on February 5th and 6th from 4-7 PM at New Balance UTC, located at 315 N Cattlemen Rd Suite 1, Sarasota, FL 34243.
