2024 Rocket City Kids Marathon

Event Details

The Rocket City Kids Marathon is a 14-week running program that encourages kids to complete a full marathon (26.2 miles) by running approximately 1.75 miles per week. The final mile will be completed in grand fashion at the finish line of the Rocket City Marathon inside the South Hall of the Von Braun Center.

Participants track their miles either at home, in school, or with friends and family. The event will feature cheering fans, friends, and family, making it a memorable experience. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, and finishers will earn a medal!
