Event Overview

The Capitol Hill Classic is the only race run exclusively on the roads of Capitol Hill and marks its 44th year in 2025. This is a chance for runners to traverse iconic sites such as the US Capitol, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress.

Course Information

10K Course: Starts outside Peabody Primary School. Runners will enjoy a route that showcases various significant locales, including Stanton Park and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
3K Course: Begins at Peabody Primary School and winds through East Capitol Street to Lincoln Park and back.
Kids' Fun Run: A single lap around Stanton Park, approximately a third of a mile.
