Event Overview

The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival returns June 20-22, 2025! Participants will have the opportunity to compete at all skill levels, from rookies to world champions, on the waters of Mooney's Bay for a weekend of racing and fun!

Event Details

The multi-day festival offers spectators free admission for musical programming, a variety of artisans, exhibitors, delicious culinary treats, a beach-side bar, a children’s area, and non-stop racing in community, corporate, and sport divisions.

Teams will compete in two 500m races in various Challenge Cup divisions on Saturday, June 21. Top teams will advance to Sunday, June 22 for a 100m, 200m and 500m Grand Final.

Individual registration is also available for anyone new to the sport or area looking to join a team.
