5k Homecoming Fun Run x Western Cider | 2024 Montana Brewery Running Series

Join us for a fun-filled day of running, cider, football and good vibes at Western Cider. Lace up your running shoes - we've mapped out a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in downtown Missoula. Run, walk or jog before celebrating with a locally-made craft beverage at the finish line.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this event is fun for all. The 5k course will take you through scenic routes, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while getting your heart pumping before the big game.

After crossing the finish line, reward yourself with a well-deserved pint of craft cider from Western Cider. Nothing beats the feeling of accomplishment and the taste of a refreshing brew! So gather your friends and come join us before the game at Western Cider on October 12th. It's going to be a day filled with beer run fun. See you there!

Event Details

This event is part of our 2024 Montana Brewery Running Series Season. All participants receive a craft brew at the finish line from Western Cider, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games and goodies with our partners and sponsors.

Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back. A portion of all proceeds from our events supports local nonprofits - over $500k raised to date! This event will add to that tally by donating 10% to local organizations like Montana Pittie Project.

Important Information

This is an untimed, fun-run. All levels of walkers, runners and joggers are welcome. This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations. You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.

Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, with care and caution. Please drink responsibly and consider carpooling.
