8 Hours of Brown County

Event Details

The 8-Hour Run is scheduled for June 14, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We will begin and finish at the Recreation Center next to Rally Camp 1. Optional camping will take place from 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, through Noon on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

What to Expect

• Main course includes approximately 8 miles of single track trail with about 2000’ of total elevation change.
• A "short" rugged loop of about 2.2 miles is also available.
• Aid stations will be provided at the start/finish area.
• Participants can run, walk, or crawl the loops as many times as they want during the 8-hour event.
• A “Garmin Challenge” will award the male and female participants with the most mileage recorded during the event.
• If not a member of the Indiana Trail Running Association, non-member fees apply.

Camping Information

We have reserved Rally Camp 1 for the entire weekend. Members of the Indiana Trail Running Association can camp for free with prior registration; non-members will be charged $20 for the weekend.
