Race Details

The mile race begins at Ashmun Street and 14th Ave at 7:00 PM. The runners and walkers will start the Independence Day Parade, providing a thrilling atmosphere. The course features thrilling downhill sections to help achieve great finishing times.

Registration Prices

• September 10 - December 31: $20.00
• January 1 - June 30: $25.00
• July 1 - July 4: $30.00 (Online until 5:30 PM July 4, cash only near finish line until 6:00 PM)

Awards

All finishers will receive a unique medal and a $1 off coupon for Motown Nates! Prizes include:

• 1st place male and female: $50 + 1 Free Domino's Pizza
• 2nd place male and female: $30
• 3rd place male and female: $20
• 1st place master's (40+) male and female: $50 + 1 Free Fry from Motown Nates

No age group prizes will be awarded. Water, bananas, and granola bars will be available at the finish line.

Notes

Participants should be able to complete the mile in 25 minutes or less. Be prepared to move to the sidewalk if the parade catches up.

Bib Pick-Up

Bib pick-up will take place on race day from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM near the finish area. Plan to arrive early to avoid lines.

Results

The race will feature gun timing using bib transponders, with live results available that will show finish order separated by gender.
