Event Overview

The AthHalf includes a thrilling half marathon and 5K through the vibrant streets of Athens. The half marathon course highlights historic districts, downtown, and the UGA campus along with live music from local bands. The 5K celebrates community spirit with a band at the starting and finishing points.

Course Details

• AthHalf Half Marathon: 13.1 miles, starting on November 3, 2024, at 7:30 AM, with a finish line at UGA's Sanford Stadium.
• AthFest Educates 5K: 5K run/walk on November 2, 2024, at 2:30 PM, an out-and-back course through downtown Athens.
• Virtual AthHalf Half Marathon: Join virtually with a distance of 13.1 miles.

Registration Fees

• AthFest Educates 5K: $35.00
• AthHalf Half Marathon: $65.00 - $125.00 depending on registration date
• Virtual AthHalf Half Marathon: $50.00

All proceeds from the event support AthFest Educates, a nonprofit dedicated to funding music and arts education programs for K-12 youth in Athens-Clarke County. Your participation directly impacts children's access to these vital programs.
