Backyard Ultra Structure

Each Yard of the race begins precisely one hour after the last, with strict guidelines ensuring all competitors start at the designated bell. This format emphasizes strategic pacing and camaraderie, as the last person standing is declared the winner.

Key Rules

• A loop course of at least 4 miles (880 feet) is required.
• Each Yard must be completed in under one hour.
• No late starts or personal aid allowed during the Yards.
• Backyard 24 events can be hosted within the same framework.
