bg26.2 and Half Marathon & bg6000

Event Overview

The bg26.2 and Half Marathon is a charity event taking place on November 3, 2024, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The marathon is a Boston qualifying USATF Certified Course. The starting point is at Bowling Green Ballpark, and runners will enjoy a looped route through picturesque downtown Bowling Green and the Western Kentucky University campus.

Course Information

All marathon participants will complete the course twice. There are 5 checkpoints for marathoners and 2 for half marathoners. A 6-hour time limit applies, after which runners must move to sidewalks, and no police protection will be provided.

Packet Pickup & Expo

Participants can pick up their packets at an expo and enjoy a free pasta dinner on November 2, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top finishers in each category, including age groups for both the marathon and half marathon events.

Additional Information

Strollers are not permitted. Refunds are not available, though transfers and deferrals can be arranged for a fee.
