Join us for the 6th Annual Black Bear Half Marathon and 8k presented by Hunter Subaru!

This exhilarating fall event beckons both seasoned athletes and recreational runners alike. Nestled within the charm and beauty of Hendersonville, North Carolina, this race offers participants a unique opportunity to challenge their limits while immersing themselves in the splendor of the autumn season.

Both courses are USATF Sanctioned and Certified. Can’t make it in-person? We also offer a virtual option for both races.

Registration Fees

In-Person Half Marathon: Starts at $90 (price varies by registration date)

In-Person 8K: Starts at $50 (price varies by registration date)

Virtual Half Marathon: $65

Virtual 8K: $50

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will occur on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Oklawaha Brewing and on race day, October 12, from 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM at Jackson Park.
