Event Details

The Blue Ridge Relay (BRR) is one of the longest running relay races in the United States, taking place in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Starting on September 5, 2025, teams will rotate through 36 transition areas while covering approximately 208 miles.

Start Location

The race begins in Grayson Highlands State Park, VA, at an elevation of 4920′, near Mount Rogers, the highest peak in Virginia.

Participants will enjoy scenic routes that traverse through:

The Appalachian Trail
The Blue Ridge Parkway
