UNDER AGE 12 PARTICIPANTS

Children (under age 12) are FREE but NEED TO BE REGISTERED.

RACE REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

If the event goes entirely virtual due to circumstances beyond our control, refunds will not be issued. However, you will still receive your race kit and shirt.

VANCOUVER RACE DAY INFO

DATE: October 5th, 2024

START LOCATION: Olympic Village Square, Vancouver (1650 Manitoba St, Vancouver, BC)

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

8AM-9AM - Race Kit Pickup @ Olympic Village Square

9AM - Pre-Race Program in Olympic Village Square Plaza

Personal Stories, Sponsorship and BC Women's Speeches

9:45AM - Pre-Race Warm Up

10AM - 5KM Begins

10:15AM - 3KM Begins

10:30AM - Light refreshments and snacks post-run in Olympic Village Square, Community Resource Booths, Various activities and entertainers for young children after the run (activity booths, music, characters)

VANCOUVER PARKING

Parking is very limited around Olympic Village Square. Race location is very accessible with Transit. The start/finish line is walking distance from Olympic Village Skytrain & Main St/Science World Station.

VIRTUAL RACE INFO

If you cannot make it in-person but would still like to participate - we'd love to have you participate from wherever you are! Tag us @butterflyrun on Facebook and Instagram while you walk/run! Pricing is the same as in person. Race kits are included and can be collected at Race Kit-Up Times.

RACE KIT INFO

Each paid registration includes a small RACE KIT and a T-SHIRT. Race Kit includes Race Bib and other small gifts. Option to not get a race kit. T-Shirts are included in all adult registrations. September 6th is the LAST DAY to guarantee your preferred T-shirt size. REGISTRATIONS AFTER SEPT 6th MAY NOT RECEIVE A TSHIRT. Option to not get a t-shirt. Children size T-shirts can be purchased for $15.00 at time of registration. Children's shirts will NOT be available for purchase after September 6th.
