Cactus Classic Trail Races

Welcome to the Cactus Classic Trail Races!

This event, now in its 15th year, offers a range of challenging trail races through the scenic Sand Ridge State Forest. Participants can enjoy a variety of distances including a marathon, half marathon, and 10K.

Course Details

The race course starts and finishes at "Oak Campground" and weaves through the pine forests of Sand Ridge State Forest. Expect a mix of flat and rolling terrain with trails featuring loose sandy soil, reminiscent of running on a beach.

Keep an eye out for the variety of cactus that grow throughout the park!

Packet Pickup and Race Day Information

Packet pickup is available on race morning from 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM with the race starting at 8:00 AM. Please park in the Oak Camp area, with overflow parking available along Cactus Drive.

If you need to change your distance, please do so prior to the race start to avoid a DNF.

Swag

To guarantee a shirt or hoodie, participants must register by February 20th. After this date, entries will not include a shirt or hoodie and pricing will be adjusted accordingly.
