Cancer Can Suck a Cactus Fun Run 5k/10k

Join us on November 2nd, 2024 for an unforgettable event the whole family will enjoy along the scenic coast of southern Maine! This year marks the 3rd anniversary of running a 10k from my home in Kennebunk to my last scheduled chemo infusion in Wells, Maine with a merry band of friends, family and nurses.

Our Mission

1. To raise money for stage 4 breast cancer research and increase disease understanding.

2. To motivate others to exercise as part of cancer prevention & cancer treatment side effect reduction.

How to Get Involved

There are several ways to get involved in the Fun Run:

1. Register to participate in the race. You have the option to participate individually, create a team, or join an existing team.

2. Help us fundraise by sharing your unique fundraising page created by Race Roster with family and friends.

3. Unable to participate? Make a donation to support MBC research or volunteer at the race!

Race Details

Kennebunk racers will start their race at the gorgeous Webhannet Golf Club, running along the Kennebunk coast, through charming neighborhoods & then back to the Club for post-race snacks, beverages, and finisher medals.

Virtual racers can participate from anywhere, and we hope to beat our record from last year with both the number of states and countries participating!
