Catamount Climb Half Marathon & 5K

Event Overview

The 2025 Catamount Climb Half Marathon and 5K will take place on April 5, 2025, at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. This event includes a 5K and a Half Marathon, with proceeds supporting student professional development and academic scholarships.

Course Details

• 5K: Completely on campus, navigating through the heart of campus with moderate elevation change.
• Half Marathon: Starts on campus, heads off campus for a few miles, and then returns for the finish line.

Race Packets

Each registered participant will receive a race packet that includes a race t-shirt, bib, coupons, and sponsorship materials. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal.

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up will occur on:

• April 4th, 2025 from 3 PM to 7 PM at the WCU Campus Recreation Center
• April 5th, 2025 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at the WCU Campus Recreation Center
