Charlottesville Turkey Trot 5k

Event Overview

Come join us for the 2024 Charlottesville Turkey Trot 5k on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 28th at 9:00 am. The race starts and finishes next to Albemarle High School, with a scenic course featuring flat stretches and mild rolling hills.

Albemarle High School, 2775 Hydraulic Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

Course Options

• 5k (Live) - Distance: 5K
• 5k (Virtual) - Distance: 3.1 Miles

Registration

Registration fees are $35 from Sept 1, increasing to $40 on October 25, $42 on November 25, and $48 after 6pm on November 27. Virtual participants can run anywhere between 11/28/2023-12/1/2024.

All registered participants receive a race t-shirt, while supplies last.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will occur at Connect Church on Nov. 26 (3-6pm) and Nov. 27 (1-6pm). Race day packet pickup is available from 7:45am-8:30am.

Safety and Support

No race refunds or deferrals. No dogs or strollers allowed on the course. Local EMT services will be present for participant safety.

Beneficiary Information

The event supports the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, both of which provide essential food resources to our community.
