The Daniel Barden Mudfest features several exciting races:

• 5 MILE TIMED RACE - Starts at 8:45 AM, Age: 13+, Distance: 8K, Price: $65.00 - $85.00
• TIMED 5k - ONE HEAT ONLY - Starts at 9:30 AM, Age: 11+, Distance: 5K, Price: $55.00 - $75.00
• 5K UNTIMED RUN - Starts at 10:00 AM, Age: 11+, Distance: 5K, Price: $45.00 - $65.00
• Kids Run - Starts at 11:00 AM, Age: 5-11, Distance: 1 Mile, Price: $25.00

All proceeds will benefit scholarship opportunities and charitable causes in memory of Daniel.

About the Event

This mud run event was started in memory of Daniel Barden, who was one of the first-graders killed in the Sandy Hook tragedy in December 2012. Daniel is remembered as a kind and gentle child who loved the outdoors, and this event celebrates his spirit through running and fun.
