Day of the Dead (Legs)

Welcome to the Day of the Dead (Legs) event! This unique endurance challenge takes place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Albuquerque, NM. Participants will have 10 hours to complete as many repeats of the Whitewash climb as possible. Each lap consists of a 0.5-mile climb with a 500-foot elevation gain.

Event Details

Registration is required to participate, and it is recommended to register early as spots fill up quickly. Finisher awards will be given to all participants who complete the full 10 hours, with special awards for the top climbers in each category.

Course Information

The course is a technical climb, and while it is flagged, there is no mandatory route. Participants are encouraged to stay on existing trails and respect trail etiquette. Crew members are welcome at the basecamp, but dogs are not allowed on the trail.

What to Bring

Participants should come prepared with trekking poles, personal food and drink, and good trail shoes. A full aid station will be provided, along with snacks and hydration options.

Parking and Logistics

Please arrive early to secure parking, as the event does not start at a parking lot. There are several nearby residential streets where parking is available.
