Diablito 50/50

Join us for the Diablito 50/50 event at Tickfaw State Park, featuring a 50 Miler and 50K race. The event will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, starting at 7:00 AM. Participants can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tickfaw State Park while challenging themselves on the River Trail, which is a 3-mile loop along the river.

Event Details

The 50K and 50 Miler races will start at 7 AM, with a cutoff time of 14 hours for both distances. Registration is available until July 9, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. The registration fees are $113.98 for the 50 Miler and $96.45 for the 50K, including taxes and fees.

Awards and Swag

All finishers will receive a medal, and the top 3 male and female participants in each distance will receive a custom medal holder. Participants will also receive a unisex quarter zip long sleeve fishing shirt, a speed cup, sunglasses, and tequila shot glasses.

Lodging

Tickfaw State Park offers various lodging options, including improved and unimproved campsites, as well as cabins. Basic cookware, utensils, and linens are provided in the cabins, but visitors should bring their own food and personal supplies.

While at Tickfaw State Park, take the opportunity to explore the nature center, view the 800-gallon aquarium, and stroll through the diverse ecosystems along the boardwalks. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the cypress/tupelo swamp, hardwood forest, and the Tickfaw River.
