Event Details

The 2025 Duff Dog Backyard Ultra will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM. Registration closes on Friday, October 10, at 11:59 PM CT.

Course Information

The course will follow a runner-friendly loop utilizing the established trail system at the park, with 95% of the course on grass, some gravel, and a short paved path. There will be ample runner support area with shade and a shelter for comfort during the event, as well as nearby camping options for family and friends.

Course Rules

1. Each loop must be 4 miles and 880 feet (metric equivalent: 6.7056 kilometers).
2. Starts will occur precisely 1 hour after the last and must be started at the bell.
3. No non-competitors are allowed on the course during loops.
4. Each competitor must complete their loop within one hour for it to count, including the final lap.
5. The winner is the last person to successfully complete all required loops.
