Edison Festival of Light 5K

This race precedes the Edison Festival of Light Grand Parade. Participants run along the streets of downtown Fort Myers, lined with 200,000 (est.) cheering spectators gathered for the Grand Parade. The starting line will be south of Edwards Drive on Jackson Street.

Proceeds go to the Edison Festival of Light, a non-profit organization that promotes the arts, culture, and history of Fort Myers and Southwest Florida. Through scheduled events, the Festival helps to support local groups.

• Late Adult: $35 from January 1 - February 14, 2025
• Race Day: $40
• Youth: $15 on or before December 31, 2024
• Late Youth: $20 from January 1 - February 14, 2025

Top awards for overall male and female, masters, grandmasters, and age group categories, as well as team awards.

Parking

No parking at the race site. Suggested parking garages include Monroe Street Parking Garage and Main/Jackson Street Parking Garage.

Important Notes

• First 400 participants receive a Unisex Dry-Fit shirt.
• Expected warm temperatures; drink plenty of fluids before, during, and after the race.
• This event will be timed with ChronoTrack Bib Tag Technology.
