Eternal Rest 5k

The 9th Annual Eternal Rest 5k run/walk will be held on 10/12/2024. Funds from the race and corporate sponsors help us maintain the beautiful, historic cemetery grounds.

Event Details

Day of registration starts at 3:00pm in the Wilmington & Brandywine Cemetery, 701 Delaware Ave., Wilmington DE. Race starts at 4:00pm in the lower section of the cemetery. The course is a fast flat race except for the uphill to the finish line!

Participants will run/walk out of the cemetery turning right onto S. Park Dr., left onto the Market Street Bridge Sidewalk, left onto N. Park Dr. turning around before the Park Condominium and return back to the finish line in the cemetery.

After-Party

The after-party starts as soon as the first returning participants arrive back at the front of the cemetery. Enjoy El Diablo Burritos, beer, wine, or soda.

Parking is available in the cemetery near the Delaware Ave. front entrance.
