Beginner & PR Friendly

Are you itching to try your hand at trail or ultrarunning? Flatrock 50k & half is perfect for your first ultra or trail race. The route takes runners through undulating trails winding through miles of trees. The trails are not technical, and the hills are just challenging enough to keep it interesting.

The 50/50 Challenge

Feeling lucky or hungry for a challenge? Take on the 50/50 Challenge and complete 50 miles within the 50k's 9-hour cutoff for a special shirt and free entry next year!

Updates for 2024

Expect rerouted long loops, new socks, medals for finishers, and a later race start time. Spectator-friendly with accessible aid stations and a playground for kids.

All entrants receive Flatrock race socks. 50/50 challenge runners get a shirt. Complimentary race photos available. Awards for top finishers.
