Ford Elementary Jingle Jog 5K

Event Details

The 5K will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, starting and ending at the Bus Port of Ford Elementary School (1345 Mars Hill Rd. Acworth, GA 30101). The event kicks off with a Kids Reindeer Dash at 7:45 AM, followed by the chip-timed 5K beginning at 8:00 AM.

Course Information

The course is an out-and-back loop featuring rolling hills. Runners will exit the Bus Port, turn right onto Mars Hill Rd., and then turn right onto Fords Rd. with a turnaround at County Line Road.

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each age category for both male and female participants. Additionally, we will crown the overall top male and female winners.

T-Shirts

All registrations received prior to November 11th are guaranteed a T-shirt.

Parking and Facilities

Parking is available at Ford Elementary School, in school lots, and along car line lanes. Restrooms will be accessible inside the school through the cafeteria entrance.

Registration

Online registration closes at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 29th. Registration will also be available on race morning from 7:00 AM to 7:40 AM in the Ford Cafeteria.

Weather Policy

The race will proceed rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather, changes to the schedule may occur. Participants are encouraged to check email for real-time updates on race day.
