General Smallwood Triathlon

Event Details

Staged out of beautiful General Smallwood State Park, this triathlon features stunning, rolling courses and low traffic roads. The swim takes place in the Mattawoman Bay, a prime example of a fully restored Chesapeake Bay tributary. Following a quick transition, athletes will enjoy a scenic ride along fresh pavement in Charles County, finishing with a picturesque run back into the park.

The event is set for April 26, 2025, with various course options available:

• General Smallwood Olympic Triathlon (Individual) - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike, 10K Run
• General Smallwood Olympic Aquabike (Individual) - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike
• General Smallwood Olympic Relay - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike, 10K Run
• General Smallwood Sprint Triathlon (Individual) - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike, 5K Run
• General Smallwood Sprint Aquabike (Individual) - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike
• General Smallwood Sprint Relay - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike, 5K Run
