High Country Turkey Trot 5k & 10k

We are excited to be back on the Boone Greenway Trail for the 14th Annual High Country Turkey Trot! For 2024, we are offering three race options:

• 5k Timed Trail Race: A scenic 5k race through the woods via The Greenway and Kennedy Trails.
• 10k Timed Trail Race: Challenge yourself with a 10k that showcases the beautiful trails.
• Fun Run/Walk: An untimed 5k option using paved trails throughout the park.

This event features a Costume Contest, Prizes for the Top 3 Men’s & Women’s Racers, Finisher Medals, and custom High Country Turkey Trot T-Shirts. We’ll also have a live DJ on site!

Event Date: November 28, 2024

Start Times:

• 10k Timed Trail Race: 8:30 AM
• 5k Timed Trail Race: 9:00 AM
• Fun Run/Walk: 9:35 AM (starts after timed races)

All finishers will receive a custom High Country Turkey Trot finisher medal!
