Welcome to Hunter S Thompson Fear and Loathing, a unique urban adventure event presented by Haight Ashbury Ultra Society, Zombie Runners, and Fat Ass Runners. Experience a Savage Journey through the Heart of the American Dream starting at Twin Peaks, the highest vista point in San Francisco.

Event Details

This is a fat ass event with no fees, no awards, and no aid, but aid stations are provided along the course. Participants will navigate the city on foot, exploring tourist spots and practicing the art of getting lost.

Aid Stations

Aid stations are located at various points along the course, providing support and encouragement to participants. Volunteers will share stories of navigation errors and urban adventures.

Charities

The event supports the Shoes For Runners cause, donating running gear to Mexican villages for the 13th straight year.
