Juneteenth Celebration 5k

Event Details

Come and run the downtown area of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and celebrate Juneteenth! This will be a flat and fast 5k route weaving throughout the beautiful downtown area. Enjoy the day and the festivities put on by Cool Spring Downtown District.

Before the Race

Race day registration will run from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM. Please park in the identified locations and walk down to the park. Faster runners are encouraged to line up upfront. Porta-potties will be available.

During the Race

The route is out and back with very few turns. There will be directional arrows and spray chalk on the ground at intersections and turns. If you are walking, please try to stay on the sidewalks as much as possible. Water points will be available at mile 1 and mile 2. Make sure to thank the volunteers for their support.

After the Race

After crossing the finish line, grab some water and celebrate with high fives. Have fun and return downtown for all of the fantastic festivities!
